The FIFA World Cup anthem this year, 2026, to be played in Mexico, Canada and the US.

Shakira has announced that proceeds from her every performance during the World Cup, of this globally popular and peppy dance-song spreading optimism, with intense, deep meaning and emotions, will go for the education of poor kids across the world.

No wonder she picked up the genious kid-dancers, boys and girls, from a Nigerian ghetto, to dance along with her. The kids were, of course, overwhelmed, bursting with joy, with 'I love you' messages for their favourite superstar: Shakira.

Here are the lyrics of the top chart-buster and video across the world.

Oh-eh-oh-eh (Oh-eh), eh-oh-eh (Oh-eh)

Oh-eh-oh-eh (Oh-eh), eh-oh-eh

[Refrain: Shakira, Shakira & Burna Boy]

You been this brave all along

[Verse 1: Burna Boy & Shakira]

Come follow your desire

You are the owner of that fire

No onе can take it away

Sweat and blood to write your story

That is how you pavеd the way

You're about to reach the glory

[Pre-Chorus: Burna Boy & Shakira, Both]

All the highs and lows

All the tears and the pain

You been there through it all, been through it all

Just do it again

Now you got to believe, I believe

'Cause you know what it takes

To be living my dream

At the top of your game

Bad day for Stanford alumni Sundar Pachai. So why was he not taking questions from a persistent BBC reporter as shown on social media? Free Palestine, said the students, implying Google's links with the IDF. Photo courtesy middleeasteye / Instagram
