Amit Shah’s Police Manual: ‘Inhuman, Nasty, and Brutish’

Cops run amok: What is wrong with the Delhi police and its top cops? EVERYTHING is wrong with the Delhi police and its top cops.
By Amit Sengupta in Delhi
(As this article gets published, the reported news is that Neha Bora was forcibly detained today at the India Gate protest, picked up in a private, unmarked car, and dropped in an unknown location in Narela. AISA has posted that there ws not a single female constable in the car. Girls who climbed the car to stop it were dragged ruthlessly down from the roof. Her bag and phone has disappeared. Eminent lawyer Prashant Bhushan has tweeted that this amounts to kidnapping of a peaceful protester. It does.)

(Women protesters, including women students have frequently complained that they too have gone through a similar horrifying experience. Dropping women in unknown and far-away locations after dark, when a series of violent rapes and one murder has created widespread outrage – is this the ‘New Standard Procedure’ of Delhi Police under the Union Home Minister?)
CAN THEY stop these relentless waves of protests, now spreading like a wild fire across the country, with police brutality?
No.
On October 4, today, once again a spontaneous and peaceful protest march started from India Gate to Jantar Mantar. Once again, a huge contingent of cops chose confrontation. Not allowed, they said.
Why? They could have let the peaceful march carry on. It would have been a nobler and democratic option. But there seems to be a widespread opinion that Amit Shah’s cops are hell-bent on being "inhuman, nasty and brutish".
Hence, the barricades were breached by hundreds who gathered from all over the place, despite the blockades, with an extremely popular and brave Neha Bora as vanguard. And yet again, the brutality started.
Meanwhile, another huge protest was on since October 3 night at the Parliament Street police station. A woman journalist was sexually assaulted by a cop. The evidence is stark on video, it’s been 24 hours plus, but the police is refusing to register an FIR, or allow the CJP’s Saurav Das and others to lodge a complaint.
Why?
Because, under Amit Shah, the cops can get away with anything. That seems the message.
Why do the Delhi Police, the Union Home Ministry, and the prime minister hate the young with such vicious ferocity?
Their actions, repeated again and again, prove that.
What is wrong with the Delhi police and its top cops?
EVERYTHING is wrong with the Delhi police and its top cops.
Why has the Delhi Police turned rogue, particularly under this heartless regime?
So who controls the rogue Delhi police?
Who commands them, and who gives them orders? Who protects them when they run amok?

Does the PM agree, with his Gujarati partner-in-arms?
Of course, he does. It’s part of a pattern. A predictable pattern.
Why was the Delhi Police Commissioner changed so abruptly, almost overnight? Did the former police commissioner refuse to reign lathis and pellet guns on the students?
There is no ‘enough is enough’ in this pattern.
Is there any application of mind?
No, there is no application of mind. They are simply following a Predictable Pavlovian Pattern (PPP), as if in cold-blooded robotic autopilot. As a teenage girl said in the massive ‘Go Gyanu Go’ rally at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on October 2, 2026. “It seems Modiji is not able to process it.”
A totalitarian mind steeped in the arrogance of power with absolute no accountability, has no time or inclination to process. Besides, they have got away so brazenly in the past, with most extreme violations of democracy, why not now?
Democracy can go get damned!
State repression, throughout history, follow time-tested methods, especially in quasi dictatorships camouflaged as fake democracies or banana republics – which is their original project. Witness how they used the ‘agencies’ to hound opposition leaders – raids after raids. Even journalists were not spared.
Witness the fate of the young, brilliant scholars peacefully protesting the polarising CAA? Umar Khalid and others are still languishing after six years in prison – no trial, not even the pretence of justice. No wonder, even the justice system seems to be becoming an illusion.
Justice?
Is there justice in contemporary India?
So whose orders gave them the cops in Delhi the confidence to routinely turn vicious, go berserk, unleash unprecedented brutality, beat the hell out of youngsters and students, use pellet guns, lathis with nails and electric current, drag the peaceful youngsters on hard ground, hold them by their neck and hair, push them into buses, forcibly detain non-violent protesters who are only shouting slogans, barricading public streets and public spaces for no rhyme or reason, blocking all forms of road transport while metro stations are shut in the heart of Delhi?
What if there is an emergency – what if one has to rush to an ailing friend or relative, or a hospital, a railway station, airport, even a school exam, or a job interview in a jobless market?
They did it on July 26, 2026. They have done it again on October 2, 3, 4 in Delhi. Identified cops were seen sexually assaulting young women protesters on July 26. Those videos have run on social media a billion times or more.
Were they punished, or have they too become role models?
Was it indeed a “Culture Shock”, or is this the new culture under this regime?
On October 3, an independent woman journalist has alleged that she was aggressively groped by a senior cop whose picture and video evidence is there to prove her point. Till the time of writing, late evening afternoon on October 4 –no FIR was lodged. Despite huge protests.
This is the inevitable method in the madness under this regime. Remember it took Rahul Gandhi more than seven hours to lodge a protest with the young survivor of a pellet gun attack?
So who is protecting this cop, and why?
What is the message they want to send to women protesters, including women journalists?
Is there an application of mind here?
Earlier, two women journalists were brutally assaulted, and for a long time, inside a South Delhi police station for no rhyme or reason. When they found their surname is ‘Khan’ – the beating became nasty. And it was reportedly a woman cop who led the assault.
Was she and others punished?
Or, is she another role model for this regime?
(Like that Hindutva criminal on the loose, with connections to the establishment – Swatantra Bhardwaj. Scot free once again, after merely 10 days in jail. Do they think the people are not watching this grotesque mockery of justice?)
On October 2, Gandhi Jayanti, Delhi cops and its officers, under the command of the Union Home Minster, paid their own brand of homage to the Mahatma.

They unleashed another reign of terror on totally peaceful protesters, demanding the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar, now well-established as the man who presided over the mass deletions of voters, manipulation of election results, and the Sinister Disenfranchisement Project of legitimate Indian citizens, clearly under the protection and patronage of Modi and Shah.
They could have allowed a peaceful protest, as the Maharashtra Police did in a packed Shivaji Stadium in Mumbai on October 2. Or the huge, endless Shiv Sena (UBT) rally demanding the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar in Mumbai today, October 4.
So why drag Neha Bora and others with such savagery that her hands, forearms, neck, shoulders are full of wounds?
They think they can stop her with their bestiality unleashed?
Is this normal?
Are young men and women, girls and boys, school and college students, organising a coup d'état?

Is there an armed insurrection happening in Jantar Mantar, that they choose to turn it into a kind of battlefield, and unleash mindless brutality?
The truth is that this regime now stands so thoroughly exposed, that there is no place to hide.
They have been found out. And no multi-millionPR or propaganda props can change their reality of their image. It’s too late. They will pay for their actions.
As a woman in a black T-shirt, lying on the ground at Jantar Mantar on October 2, said: “They are sick. Amit Shah must resign. They will know – once they are ousted from power. They won’t get a place to stand in this country!”
Jantar Mantar Season 3. October 10.
Pack your bags, Abhijit Dipke has given a cool, composed call. He can sense the nation-wide pulse. “Something remarkable is happening in this country,” he said in a Mumbai programme surrounded by great actor Naseeruddin Shah and Gandhiji’s grand son, Tushar Gandhi.
His stirring anti-establishment speech, especially targeting Modi, will mark a radical rupture in the political history of India. He has particularly named one top Delhi cop as the General Dyer of Amit Shah. It’s all over social media – this General Dyer of our times.
The fire is spreading yet again, like a huge wave or resurrection and rebellion across the country. Soon, Amit Shah won’t have enough cops to stop the infinite processions of the people.
Rememmber Udham Singh and the butcher of Jallianwala Bagh?
Certainly, every Dyer will have his day.
Like Gyanesh Kumar, and his masters.

Follow the young!
Satyagrah!
Mass Civil Disobedience!
India is on the cusp of a non-violent revolution.
It’s Done Bro.
